Gary Goddard Brown, 84, of Indianapolis passed away on August 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on January 13, 1940. He was born to his parents, Gerald and Billee Brown.
In high school, Gary met the love of his life, Julie A. Bailey. They married on August 29, 1959, and shared 65 wonderful years together.
Gary received a BSBA from the University of Wyoming and served in the Wyoming National Guard.
Gary touched many lives and will undoubtedly be missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife, Julie A. (Bailey) Brown; his daughters, Keri Brown, Patty Harris and Tracy Brown; his grandchildren, Morgan Mares, Laura Kelly, Corey Harris, Jason Cooper, Haley Harris, Emily Harris his great-grandchildren Reagan, Marley, Cooper, Indy, Hendrix, Perrin, & Kiera.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Billee, and his grandson Timothy Wallace.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229, from 10AM-2PM. A funeral service will begin at 2PM.
