Robyn Davis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Oakley-Hammond Funeral Home on Mar. 26, 2026.
Robyn Raye Rochford Davis, 65, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on March 20, 2026 after a hard-fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Robyn was born July 12th, 1960 to Robert and Mary Rochford in Indianapolis. Though originally from Indianapolis, Robyn lived all over the country during her youth before eventually settling back in Indianapolis. After graduating from Lawrence North High School in 1978, Robyn went on to receive a Business degree from IUPUI. Robyn had pursued a variety of different careers during her life including being a buyer/seller for retail stores like Lazarus and Target, an I.A. for Lawrence Township, and finally, Robyn worked for various Autism Behavioral Centers across the Indianapolis area as a Behavioral Therapist helping those with autism to provide them the skills needed to be successful in life.

Robyn met her husband Mike in 1980, and they married in 1985. Together they have 3 children, Lauryn Davis, Brian Davis, and Kevin Davis. Robyn loved her family more than anything in the world and this was exemplified by how she lived her life. She worked nights delivering newspapers while raising 3 children just to make sure that there was someone home when school was over. She attended every school concert and event that her children were a part of and supported them in every endeavor they pursued. Robyn loved to travel whenever she could. She enjoyed short trips like going to Traverse City and Louisville where as a family we explored the local sights and she enjoyed longer journeys to the Bahamas, Ireland and an Alaskan cruise where she with her family made once in a lifetime memories. Robyn was a huge Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Phillies fan and would support them for better or worse. Robyn was a resilient woman who would rather handle problems on her own and would bend over backwards to help someone in need.

Robyn was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rochford, mother, Mary Fisher Rochford, and her husband, Michael (Mike) Davis. Robyn is survived by her children Lauryn Davis, Brian Davis, and Kevin Davis (daughter-in-law Lauren Colbert-Davis), aunt Edna Fisher, cousins Charlotte Crockett and James Fisher, sister in-law Kathleen Miller (Thomas Miller) and brother in-law Thomas Davis, nieces and nephews Jack Ensley, Mary Ensley (Anthony Tauriello), Christopher Miller (Jacline Miller), Bridget Miller, John Davis, Mary Davis, and several great nieces and nephews.

Oakley Hammond is handling arrangements. Visitation will be April 9th, 2026, from 4PM-7PM at Oakley Hammond Funeral Home (5342 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46219). A second visitation will be April 10th, 2026 at 10AM at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church (8155 Oaklandon Road Indianapolis, IN 46236) followed by a funeral mass at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Endometriosis Foundation of America (https://www.endofound.org) or to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (https://www.rmhccin.org). Live links to donate may be found under Robyn's photo in the menu column on this site.
