Gary Buchanan

Gary Buchanan, age 70, of Erwin, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Erwin, Gary is a son of the late Kelly G. and Nina Vendora (Sullins) Buchanan. He loved cars and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his twin brother: Terry Buchanan; brothers: Wade Buchanan and Kelly Buchanan; and sister: Shirley Buchanan.
Gary Buchanan has left behind to cherish his memory: sons: Terry Brian Buchanan, Karl David Buchanan and Gary Allen Buchanan; granddaughter: Amber Buchanan; grandsons: Zachary Buchanan and Ryan Buchanan; great-granddaughters: Addy Cosby and Stella Cosby; and sisters: Glenda Pittman and Fran Buchanan.
A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Gary will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery at a later time.
