Gary Burow Obituary

Gary Vaughn Burow, 71, passed away unexpectedly at his lake home in Makinen, MN on November 25th, 2025.
Gary was the proud owner of Junction Properties and Vaughn Inc. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, hosting many bus trips during his years of bar ownership both in Babbitt and Hoyt Lakes. He was a wonderful cook, learning and perfecting the skills he was taught by his mom, Alice.
To anyone who knew Gary, he was a kind and loving man with a gentle soul and will be dearly missed.
Gary was proceeded in death by his sweet mother Alice Satterfield in 2022 and his beloved dogs: Willy, Drago, and Hawk. He is survived by his best friends: Missy Carlson (Babbitt), Ryan and Landyn Nephew (Ely), Jennifer Borden (Virginia), and Don Maxson (Babbitt), his nephews Troy and Trent, as well as many other dear family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21st, 2024 at Faith Lutheran Church, 301 Kennedy Memorial Dr, in Hoyt Lakes, MN. Visitation will take place from 10-11 a.m.
