Jeffrey Clair Burow

Jeff Burow, age 81 of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 9, 2025, at Our Lady of Peace Hospice. He was a beloved husband, dad, and grandpa.

He treasured his childhood growing up on the family dairy farm and apple orchard on South Ridge, rural La Crescent, MN. After graduating from Houston High School, he earned a degree in Business Administration from Mankato State College.

Jeff spent his career at Ceridian, where he held multiple positions, including managing the payroll department and later working in project management for installing new payroll systems.

After retirement, he enjoyed exploring new interests, including reading American history, gardening, stained glass work, and creating beautiful woodworking projects.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Clara Burow, and his sister, Karla VanLeeuwen (Hanno).

He is survived, and dearly loved, by his wife of 58 years, Ahna Marie; daughters Kirsten Wollin (Jim), Julie Westover (Bruce) and Maren Burow; and his grandchildren Gabe and Nick Johnson, and Connor, Madison, and Nicole Westover.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Living Word Lutheran Church, 4300 Nicols Rd, Eagan, MN 55122. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to Living Word Lutheran Church or Samaritan's Purse.
