Gary Carmack

TIPP CITY -- Gary M. Carmack, age 78 of Bethel Township, Tipp City, Ohio passed away Friday, July 1, 2022. Born May 3, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to Samuel and Esther {Burns} Carmack. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Carl Carmack and sister, Kathy Carmack. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Phyllis {Smith} Carmack of Bethel Township, Tipp City, Ohio, children; Ron (Jennifer) Carmack of Troy, Ohio, Samuel (Deronda) Carmack of West Milton, Ohio, Randy (Erica) Carmack of New Lebanon, Ohio and brother; Doug (Janice) Carmack of Tipp City, Ohio. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren; Courtney Carmack, Aaron Carmack, Taylor Carmack and Farrah Carmack-Quillen.

He was a member of the Brandt United Methodist Church, Tipp City. Gary loved playing the piano especially at his church, Bethel Township and area nursing homes. He was a member of several bands including "Joyful Noise". Gary was a #1 fan of the Dayton Dragons, Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, Wright State Raiders, Columbus Blue Jackets and anything sports. He volunteered at the Bethel Hope Food Pantry.

Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2022 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
