Gary Caswell Obituary
August 25, 1946 - March 4, 2025, age 78.
Gary went to be with the Lord, two years after losing his beloved wife, Marcia. They were best friends since 1978. He is survived by his children, David (Tracy) Behnke, Heather (Kevin) Caswell-Hathaway, and Becky (Robert) James-Root; his brother, "Doug" Olan (Peggy) Caswell; his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Gary is now reunited with his bride; his daughters, Heidi Caswell and Tina Genung; his mother, father, and stepmother; and his brothers, Stuart, Robert, and Bruce. Ironically, Gary passed away in his childhood neighborhood - Charlotte, New York.
Gary played football and wrestled while attending Charlotte High School, from which he graduated in 1967. He worked at Lake Shore CC, Charlotte Appliance, and Monroe Sales Register. Gary was in the Masonic Brotherhood (Valley/Inspiration #109) and a 32nd Degree Mason in the Scottish Rite as well as a Shriner from the Damascus Shrine. Gary's father, S. Earl Caswell, loved to play "Santa Claus," a tradition he passed to Gary.

A service Celebrating Gary's Life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at the North Chili United Methodist Church, 2200 Westside Dr, Rochester, NY 14624.

Very sorry to read he passed. I did Marsha and Gary's hair for many years. Glad they are together again.
