Gary Charlot, age 63 of Pass Christian, Ms, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025. Gary was born on October 22, 1961 in Gulfport, Ms. He graduated from Pass Christian High School in 1979 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force as a E7.
Master Sergeant from 1979-1999. He worked for Gulf Coast Baptist Assembly for many years. He then went on to start his own business as a carpenter.
Gary was known for having a great time and making sure those around him had a great time as well. If he had it, you had it! He was known as the neighborhood dad & as the fun uncle to his nieces & nephews. He would give you his last! He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle & friend who cherished the time spent with family and friends. Gary was particularly passionate about building houses and fixing up properties.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Charlot Durr(Cameron Sr.) Son, Daniel Charlot IV, Son, Rico Hall, & Daughter, Kenya Phillips all of Gulfport, MS. Grandchildren, Cameron Jr. "CJ", Karsyn, & Cruxe Durr. Sister, Susan Caves(Charles) of Houston, TX, Sister, Shelly Charlot of Gulfport, MS and his God Daughter, Shanti Daily Hinton of Pass Christian, Ms.
Gary is proceeded in death by his parents, Daniel and Fannie Charlot, Brothers, Stephone Charlot, Daniel Charlot III, Larry Charlot, and Sisters, Gail Charlot and Georgia Charlot all of Pass Christian, Ms.
Gary's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
