Yolette Charlot, 72, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and mother-in-law, was called to her eternal rest on July 1, 2025. She was born on March 21, 1953, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to the late Aurel Joseph and Andree Vieux.
A woman of deep faith, Yolette was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus and dedicated her life to sharing His word. She found joy in prayer, traveling, enjoying good food, and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Her life was a living testimony of love, resilience, and devotion to those around her.She was proud to have earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Mercy College, an achievement that reflected her caring spirit and commitment to helping others.Yolette leaves behind a legacy of love and faith through her children with Ricot Charlot: Rickey Charlot, Alex Charlot, and Tahanna Paul; her cherished grandchildren: Mikai Charlot, Mikayla Charlot, Elianna Paul, Titan Paul, Arianna Charlot, and Ace Charlot; her sisters: Edeline Prepetit and Magalie Joseph; and her beloved in-laws: Elisee Paul, Aliette Charlot, and Michele Charlot.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held on July 14, 2025, at Highland Memorial Gardens
