Gary Eugene Collinswroth, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home on Sept. 24, 2025 in Rising Star, Tx.
Gary was born on Sept. 18, 1946, to Hilrey Thomas Collinsworth and Mamie Ruth (Joy) Collinsworth in Oakland, California. Gary enjoyed spending his days fishing, hunting, and strumming his guitar, often serenading friends and family with his favorite tunes. He had a passion for riding his Harley and loved tinkering with anything that caught his interest.
He leaves behind his children, Patti Wolf, Jerry Flesner, Jenifer Chacon, and John Collinsworth; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Gary also leaves behind his siblings, Hilda Ruth Clark, Glynda Hollowell, Marshall Collinsworth, Sandy Lynn Hopkins, and Mike Collinsworth.Gary is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Hilrey Thomas Collinsworth and Mamie Ruth (Joy) Collinsworth.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
