Gary Collum Obituary
Funeral service will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home on April 16, 2025, at 12:00pm with Pastor Mike Russell of Victory Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Road Baptist Church Cemetery, 11708 Providence Rd, Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home on April 15, 2025, at 5:00pm. Forest Park Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
Gary was born in Shreveport, LA to Charles and Willie Collum on October 30, 1951. He went to high school at Fair Park High School. He worked as an Agent for Transport Security Authority for 12 years. He enjoyed listening to music, helping those in need, and playing the piano whenever possible. He was involved in Victory Missionary Baptist Church.
Gary is survived by his two sons, Jason Collum and wife Tzu-ling Christy of Fort Worth, TX, Joshua Collum, wife Cyndi, and son Baylin of Corpus Christi, TX; grandsons, Colt, Brodie, Keaton; great grandkids, Warner, Palmer, Blaine; and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Collum.
