Gary W. Coulter, 84, of New Boston, IL, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Brookstone of Aledo. Visitation is Monday, December 11, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo where memorials may be left to the New Boston-Eliza Fire Protection District. Gary was born August 29, 1939 in Aledo, Illinois to Vern and Helen Shotwell Coulter. Gary married Mary C. Lingle on April 22, 1960 in Aledo, Illinois. He worked as a farmer all his life. Gary enjoyed watching westerns and antique tractor pulls.
He is survived by two daughters: Tonnie (Tom) Dahl of San Diego, CA; Lisa (John) Dunham of New Boston, IL; one son: Kevin (Joy) Coulter of Joy, IL; nine grandchildren: Shannon Clay, Mackenzie (Kenny) Foster, Taegan (Logan) Sell, Laken Dahl, Alexandra (Kyle) Kesinger, Madison Coulter, Kylee (David) Busch, Jacob (Amanda) Dunham, and Marco (Melissa) Dunham; ten great grandchildren; and a very special friend: Wanda Crawford.
Gary was preceded in death by wife, Mary; his parents; one granddaughter, Bailey; and one brother, Curt Coulter.
