Gary K. Croxton, aged 87, of Branford, FL, passed away on August 13, 2025. Born on January 29, 1938, in Tampa, FL, to the late Ernest L. and Eleanor Croxton, Gary moved to Branford in 1981 from Lakeland, FL. He was a dedicated member of Hatch Bend Baptist Church and the Pipe Fitter/Welders Local Union #624 in Tampa, FL. Gary retired after a fulfilling 25-year career as both a pipefitter/welder and an Officer for the Department of Corrections.

He is survived by his loving family: two daughters, Kimberly (Tim) Nall of Lakeland, FL, and Ellie (Jerry) Coker of Hatch Bend, FL; one son, Gary Grant (Celia) Croxton of Wellborn, FL; four grandchildren, Kristen (Levi) Goldsmith, Joshua (Autumn) Nall, Casidy Coker, and Caden Coker; and six great-grandchildren, Braden, Kage, Chase, Ethan, Abigail, and Isabelle Grace. He also leaves behind several dearly loved brothers and sisters in laws, nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Croxton, his sister, Betty Kaplan, and two brothers, Ernest Croxton and Riley Croxton.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th at 3:00 pm, followed by a service at 4:00 pm at Hatch Bend Baptist Church, with Rev. Brett Patterson and Rev. Danny Humphries officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. Gary will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
