Gary Oliver Dale passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025 in Bakersfield, California surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Los Angeles County, Gary was a skilled labor carpenter, later a business owner, and a devoted family man. He shared over 60 years of marriage with his wife, Sharon Marcelle Setser, and was a loving father to Rex, Deann, and Robby, a proud grandfather to 13, and a cherished great-grandfather to five.
A memorial service will be held on November 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Valley Baptist Church, 4800 Fruitvale Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93308. Gary will be remembered for his generosity, willingness to help others in need, work ethic, and enduring dedication to his family and friends.
