Barbara Blau
March 13, 2024
This is Barbara Blau from The Summit at Plantsville. I was telling my staff about Nellie's pie that she made every year -and was going to call or text Gary to let him know we were thinking about his mom. I am so terribly sad and sorry to learn of his passing. Gary was such sweet man. He was a gentle son. Gary was always willing to help us in recreation. Please accept my deepest condolences.

So sorry to hear about Gary's passing. I met you both quite a few years ago and we became fast friends. Gary was a very "dashing" man. He was friendly, kind and always had a smile when I saw him. Wishing him eternal rest, no more suffering in this world; prayers to you Denise and to your family. Love, Deb, Mike, Nick Salerno

I had the pleasure of working with Gary at the Connecticut Light & Power Co. area work center in Middleton. He was always very respectful to his coworkers, was a great line instructor, and a pleasure to work with. He was the last of a dying breed.
