Gary Dunkin

Gary Lynn Dunkin, age 78, of Bucklin, Missouri, passed away on December 24, 2025, at his home. Gary was born on September 20, 1947, in Trenton, Missouri, to Homer Dunkin and Genevieve (Hubbard) Dunkin. He was a graduate of Trenton High School. On June 6, 1968, he was united in marriage to Joan Kitchen in Trenton, Missouri, and together they shared many years of marriage. Gary spent over 30 years working for Pepsi, where he served as a diesel mechanic, truck driver trainer, and warehouse manager. Known for his strong work ethic and mechanical mind, Gary was truly an inventor at heart. In his free time, Gary enjoyed building and working on cars, riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He loved working with his hands and was always involved in a project of some kind. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Buford Dunkin. He is survived by his wife, Joan Dunkin, of Bucklin, Missouri; his sister-in-law, Andria Bailey, of Pittsburg, Kansas; along with other family members and friends who will remember him fondly.
