Jim is survived by his wife; two sons, Douglas (JoAnne) Wittig of Rebuck, PA, Patrick James (Lisa) Dunkleberger of Mt. Airy, MD; four granddaughters, Jessica (Kyle) Wittig, Yvonne (Baley Sutton) Wittig, Rory Dunkleberger, and Sydney Dunkleberger; a brother, Thomas (Linda) Dunkleberger of Mansfield, PA; a brother-in-law, Richard (Karen) Tickner of Morganton, NC; two nieces, Valerie (Andy Jones) Miner, and Becky (Brian) Masterson; one nephew, Jason (Melissa) Dunkleberger; four great nieces, Bethani (John) Waytas, Katelyn Masterson, Ruth Dunkleberger, and Nahomi Dunkleberger; six great nephews, Devin Lechner, Jacob Dunkleberger, Trevor Masterson, Isaac Dunkleberger, Daniel Dunkleberger, and Zeke Dunkleberger, along with many cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Jean Dunkleberger.
Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 12pm to 1pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 1pm with Pastor Denny Crumb officiating. Following the funeral a committal service will take place at Roseville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Mansfield Little League or Roseville United Methodist Church 4118 Route 549 Mansfield, PA 16933. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
