GARY EARLS

Gary Lee Earls, age 61, of Westminster, South Carolina, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Born on October 25, 1963, in Harlan, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Tom and Rose Ellen Carmichael Earls. Gary worked in landscaping with Kenneth King and as a pallet builder for Benny Burton's Pallets and was known for his strong work ethic and skill with his hands.

He had a passion for woodworking, building, and fixing things, and found great joy in creating with care and precision. Gary was also an avid collector of Tonka Toys, a hobby that reflected his love for craftsmanship and nostalgia.

He is survived by his siblings: Bill Earls of Dawsonville, GA; Redda Earls of Toccoa, GA; Linda Saylor of Kentucky; Shirley Griffin of Kentucky; Edna Mae Blackwell of Kentucky; and Jeanette Robinson of Oakwood, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his siblings: Tommy Earls, Waymon Earls, Milford Earls, Virgil Earls, Judy Saylor, May Davis, Opal Maynard, and Marthie Mead.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home. Per Gary's request, no service will be held at this time.
