Larry Iree Moore

Larry Iree Moore, of Westminster, South Carolina, passed away on January 14, 2026, at his residence. Born on March 11, 1949, in Sevier County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Furman I. Moore and Betty Lou Dickson Moore Cromer.

Larry was known for many years as the assistant manager of the local Winn-Dixie and later as the owner and operator of Moore and Moore Fish Camp, which he proudly ran for over 40 years. He was well known for his service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his restaurant, which he operated alongside his beloved wife, Sandra. He was a faithful member of Calvary Church, where he previously served as an adult Sunday School Teacher, church clerk, and former member of the choir. Larry had a great passion for fishing and also enjoyed lighthouses.

He is survived by his daughters, Tonya Jones (Kevin) and Katrina Holbrooks (Matthew); a brother, Rickie Moore; five grandchildren, Sarah Jones Addis (Tyler), Madison Bolt (Logan), Rebekkah Holbrooks, Emily Jones (Keith Egizio), and Levi Jones (Emma); and four great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Calvary Church, with a private family burial to follow. Mr. Moore's body will lie in state from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Calvary Church, where the public is welcome to pay their respects. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, prior to the service, at Calvary Church.
