Laney Lou Moore

Laney Lou Moore, 87, of White Hall, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2026.

She was born on December 26, 1938, in Pine Bluff, to John Emil and Mary Evelyn Atherton Bryant.

She attended the Annunciation Academy at St. Joseph Catholic Church for nine years. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1957.

She married Roy Kenneth Moore on July 25, 1963, in Pine Bluff and retired from Simmons bank. After her retirement, Laney worked part-time at other establishments in Pine Bluff.

She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church until COVID. She also enjoyed the times she could attend church at Hardin New Life Apostolic Church with her husband.

Laney enjoyed making flower arrangements for tables and wreaths. Her favorite was decorating for Christmas. She loved drinking Dr. Pepper.

She had a special place in her heart for all her fur babies, especially "BO."

She could always say something to make you laugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and two brothers-in-law, Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" and James Mancuso of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Robert Carroll of Pine Bluff and a nephew, Chris Carroll of Pine Bluff.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Kenneth Moore; a sister, Kathy Carroll of Pine Bluff; a nephew, John Carroll and his children, Dylan and Addison of Tucker; two grand nephews, Chistian Carroll and his children, Hudson, Jace and Laikyn of Pine Bluff; and Jared Carroll of Clarksville.

Laney will be missed by many.

Private burial will be held later in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
