Gary Philip Frantz, 73, of
Georgetown, TX, passed away on February 17th, 2026, in Cedar Park, TX.
Rosary will be at 9:30 am on Monday, March 9th, 2026 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, March 9th, 2026 at St. Helen Catholic Church with Father Alberto of St. Helen Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Rosary. Reception to follow burial at St. Helen Catholic Church in the St. Rita Activity Center room 103 and 104. Light refreshments will be provided. The family requests that attendees dress respectfully in Sunday best.
Gary Philip Frantz was born in
Houston, TX, to Roy and Wilna Frantz on November 8th, 1952. He went to Ross Sterling High School in
Houston, TX. He married Christel Lee Frantz on July 6th, 1985, in
Kingwood, TX. He worked as an entrepreneur/businessman at Loss Analysis Forensic Engineering for 10 years. A company he founded with his brother Rick. He was a parishioner at St. Helen Catholic Church in
Georgetown, TX, and was a founding member of St. Anthony of Padua in
The Woodlands, TX. Gary was a devout Catholic man who shared his faith with all those arround him. Gary will be fondly remembered by his family for his sense of humor, his artistic abilities, and his love for music - which he passed on to his children.
Gary Philip Frantz is preceded in death by his mother Wilna Frantz, sister Carolyn Brockman, father Roy Frantz, and brother Rick Frantz.
Gary Philip Frantz is survived by his wife Christel Frantz, daughter Rachel Alfano and her husband Robert Alfano, son Jesse Frantz, son Chris Frantz and his wife Malendy Frantz, and his son Jason Frantz. His sisters Bonni Hickman, Cynthia Barcus, Michelle Allen, Mary Morgan, Jean Dawson, Becky Sorrels, Jamie Frommel, and Kathy Giddings. As well as three grandchildren, Mila Alfano, Evelyn Alfano, and Levi Frantz.
Pallbearers will be his sons Jesse Frantz, Chris Frantz, Jason Frantz, and his son-in-law Robert Alfano.
Memorials may be sent via obituary website by Thursday, March 5th, 2026, and will go to St. Helen Catholic Church,
