Gary P. Geltz, 78 of Summerfield, Florida went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 4, 2019. He was born in, McKeesport, Pennsylvania on March 17, 1941 to Victor and Verna Geltz. He is survived by his wife of 55 ½ years, Nina Louise (Kravtzow) Geltz and their two children, daughter Donna Louise (Geltz) Beeman, son Robert Victor Geltz and three grandchildren, Britney Taylor Geltz, Zackery Christopher Geltz, Dalton Collin Geltz and brother Gregg Lyle Geltz, his wife Merilouise, niece Monica, nephew Andrew and their extended families.
Gary graduated 1959 from Glassport High in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, he went on to The California State Teachers College for 1 ½ years and from there served his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force having served four years as a radar tech. After an honorable discharge he became an electrical - mechanical engineer traveling the globe installing and servicing numerical controlled machinery. He loved boating, target shooting, his Kubota tractor, country music and being with friends and family. Gary was a licensed pilot, he owned a Cessna 172 which he loved to fly. He was a Mason and belonged to the Sweetwater Masonic Lodge #421 in Lilburn, Georgia. He belonged to Community United Methodist Church in Fruitland Park, Florida. Gary was a devoted husband and father.
