Gary Radford Goodaker, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 5, 1947, in Princeton, Kentucky, to Mary Loreite McConnell Goodaker and James "Ted" Russell Goodaker.
Gary proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a devoted family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones and was a faithful member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 57 years, Dianne McCrystal Goodaker; his children, Thomas Anthony Goodaker and wife, Delaina, and Ann Marie Farque and husband, Ken; grandchildren, Brittany, Gracie, and Ransom; and one great-grandchild, Paisley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roland "Toby" Anthony Goodaker.
A memorial service will be held Monday, February 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, with Father Page officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m.
