Gary Gorsline Obituary
Gary was born on April 9, 1943, in Brown City, Michigan, to the late Wilford "Whitey" and Helen (Graham) Gorsline. He married Darlene Lobstein in 1963. Gary spent his working years as the supervisor of the Brown City DPW. Gary played blooper ball in his younger days. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin he built.Gary was a strong supporter of the Brown City Athletics. He attended all of his children's and grandchildren's sporting endeavors. After retiring, Gary owned a lawn-care and snow removal service.
Gary is survived by his wife of 62 years, Darlene; children, Kim Bryce, Cindy (Tony) Burton, Rob (Stacie) Gorsline, Lisa (Michael) Coggins; grandchildren, Katelyn (Ben) Eisen, Kevin Bryce, Kelly (Craig) Archer, AJ Burton, Kari (Shawn Wendorf) Burton, Collin (Gabi) Gorsline, Cameron Gorsline, Kendra Gorsline, Gabrielle (Andrew) Swaner, and Lindsey Coggins; great grandchildren, Avery and Emmett Eisen, Quinn, Luca, Emery and Saxon Archer, Miles and Brody Wendorf, Grayson, Owen and Blake Gorsline; brother-in-law, Arden (Ruth) Lobstein; and best friend, Stan Lints.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Curt Bryce; and siblings, Betty Marcott and Pat Eschtruth.
The family will receive visitors from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Flynn Township Hall, 5251 Shephard Road, Brown City, Michigan 48416.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM at the Flynn Township Hall.
