Gary Gray Obituary
He was born on July 25, 1943, in Winters, Texas, to A.B. and Rowena Gray. In the mid-1960s, Gary moved to Fort Stockton, Texas, where he later met and married Gayle on September 25, 1968. Together, they had four children. Gary's career was spent in the West Texas oilfield.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, A.B. and Rowena Gray; his wife, Gayle Gray; his daughter, Carrie Gray; his daughter-in-law, Laine Williams; his sister-in-law, Pat Gray; and his granddaughter, Kimberly Williams.
He is survived by his brother, Jack Gray; sons Rickey Williams and Randy Williams; daughter LaVonda Vering; grandchildren Rickey Wayne Williams Jr., Harvey Vinton Williams Jr., Brandy Williams, Shavonica Collins, Casey Collins, Stormie Gordon, Kari Gildge, and Chelsea Esparza; several great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas, at 11:00 a.m. on December 29, 2025, with Pastor Scott Owens officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Eternity Funeral Home.
