Gary W. Green Sr., passed away unexpectedly, at his home, on Friday, March 20, 2026.

He was born on June 2,1953, in Warren, Ohio, to his parents, Joe Sr. and Margie (Murray) Green.

He graduated from McDonald High School in 1972 and from there he enlisted in the United States Army, where he was stationed at Fort Bennington, Georgia and was honorably discharged in 1976.

Gary retired as a crane operator, where he worked at Midwest Steel and Thomas Steel. He was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders and Nascar. He was also very proud of his southern and Cherokee Indian heritage.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Caroline Lucariello of Niles; and his son, Gary Jr. "Bubby" (Kylie) Green of McDonald; four grandchildren, Nicholas Lucariello of Niles, Gianna Lucariello of McDonald and Braxton and Noah Green of McDonald; one great grandson, Giovanni Perez of McDonald; and two unborn great-grandchildren that he has not had the pleasure of meeting yet. He also leaves his sister, Vickie (Jack) Porter of Niles; and brothers, Jimmy (Shelby) Green of Mineral Ridge and Randi Green of Niles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joey, Larry, Pat, Ricky and Clinton Green; and one sister Gail Dunco.

Private family services are being held at this time.
