Ann and I offer our deepest sympathy to Carol and family. Gary was truly one of the nicest guys I ever met and a great neighbor. He was never too busy to pass the time of day with me. I remember joining him for nearly 3 hours as he pruned tree and hedge limbs one hot August day. He found us a chair and we shared stories from back in the day and had a few laughs. Gary was always there, ready to lend a hand, be it mowing a lawn, jumping a dead battery or building a ramp, always with a smile and kind word. I actually believe, if you needed it, he would have given you the shirt off his back. I'm going to miss him, this entire neighborhood will miss him. Rest in peace my friend.
