In the gentle repose of Middletown's embrace, Gary A. Hart, a soul of mirth and wisdom, hath departed from this mortal coil on the sixteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-five. Born under the autumnal skies of Jersey City, New Jersey, in the year nineteen hundred and seventy-four, Gary's journey through the tapestry of life was one of joy, creativity, and enduring love.
Gary, known affectionately to all as a man of kindred spirit, was the cherished husband of Meghan Hart, the doting father to Sophia Hart, and a beacon of familial love to his sister Michele Jarels, brother-in-law Rodney Jarels, nephew Jessi, and niece Shelby. His great-nephew Soren, known fondly as Fudge, brought him immeasurable joy. His brother Sean, his stepmother Susan, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, felt the warmth of his presence like the sun's rays. Though his father Garry and his mother Martha, along with his mother-in-law Margaret, had preceded him in passing, their influence upon his character was indelible.
Educated at Keansburg High School, Gary's youthful exuberance was channeled into the pursuit of graphic design at Brookdale Community College, where he honed his creative faculties. His professional life was a testament to his dedication and industrious nature, having served as the stalwart forklift operator for Hart Transport, a family endeavor, for over two decades. In latter years, he joined the ranks of Steris Corp in Chester, NY, where his talents blossomed and earned him accolades and advancement, as well as friendships that would endure beyond the confines of time and labor.
A man of spiritual contemplation, Gary's heart was ever open to the mysteries of the universe, finding solace and inspiration in the unseen currents that bind us all. His passions were manifold; from the digital realms of computers to the tangible artistry of woodcraft, from the exhilarating world of automobiles to the soul-stirring power of music, Gary embraced life's diverse offerings with fervor.
Described by those who knew him best as funny, kind, and wise, Gary's humor was a wellspring of joy, his kindness a refuge for the weary, and his wisdom a guiding star. In the words of the great poet John Donne, "No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main." Gary was indeed a part of us all, a fragment of humanity's greater whole, now sorely missed.
As we bid farewell to Gary A. Hart, let us remember him not with sorrow but with the laughter and love he so freely gave. In the echoes of his memory, may we find the strength to carry forward the light of his spirit, for in our hearts and in the legacy of his deeds, he lives on. Rest now, dear Gary, in the hallowed halls of eternity, where the toils of life give way to peace everlasting.
