Obituary of Harry Schaeffer Jr.

Harry C. Schaeffer Jr. passed away at home on Sunday, December 28th. He was surrounded by the love of those whose life he touched. He was a devoted father, a caring stepfather, a beloved brother and loving uncle.

Born on October 8, 1971 in Red Bank, New Jersey, Harry grew up in Keansburg. He graduated from Keansburg High School, where he fostered many lifelong friendships. In later years, he moved to Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and most recently resided in Freehold, New Jersey.

He deeply cherished his family and took pride in being a steady presence in their lives.

He is survived by his daughter Anarose; his sister, Rosemarie; his niece, Giovanna; stepchildren, Brian, Vinny, Kayla, Hartson, and Andrew; and countless family and friends.

Harry was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Schaeffer; his father, Harry Schaeffer Sr.; and his cherished life partner, Danielle Engel, whose memory he carried with him always.

He was a hunter, a fisherman, and a true outdoorsman. Harry found happiness on the water, in nature, and in the simple moments spent outside. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan.

Harry is going to be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love of family, his dedication, and his enduring spirit.

All arrangements are private at this time and under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
