Robert “Bob” Schaeffer, 95 of Canal Fulton, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026. He was born January 17, 1931 in Ridgway, PA to the late Fred and Della Schaeffer and was a 1948 graduate of Timken High School. Bob proudly served a hitch in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from E.W. Bliss Co. as a senior design engineer and also retired from Lindsay Concrete as a quality control inspector. Bob was a member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church, the Canal Fulton Lions Club and Canal Fulton VFW Post 9795. He was an avid bowler and loved the glitz and glitter of Las Vegas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Barbara Schaeffer; twin sons, Stevan and Eric Schaeffer; brother, Jack Schaeffer. Bob is survived by his sister, Lois Koehler; special cousin, Carolyn Shoultys; several nephews and one niece.
Per his wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held later in the Spring.
