Ruth Molnar Obituary
Ruth Annette (Carson) Molnar, 87 of Canal Fulton, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Born March 1, 1938 in Long Bottom, OH to the late Herman Sr. and Inez (Trussell) Carson; Ruth was a 1956 graduate of Racine High School and a 1960 graduate of the Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics. Ruth married Art Molnar on August 17, 1962 and were happily married for 55 years. Ruth started her teaching career at Northwest High School and retired from Perry High School after 29 years.
Ruth enjoyed reading, family trips to the Outer Banks, sewing and taking care of her pets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Art” Molnar; brother, Herman (Mary) Carson Jr. and brother-in-law, Dr. James Rice. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Lora (Kevin) Neitz and Lisa Lindeman; grandson, Tristen Lindeman; brother, Alan (Martha) Carson; sister, Joyce Rice and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held FRIDAY, January 30, 2026, 1:00pm at Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, 363 Cherry St. W., Canal Fulton. Visitation ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Summa Hospice, 141 N. Forge St., Akron, OH 44304 or Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, 363 Cherry St. W., Canal Fulton, OH 44614.
