Gary Hjort Obituary

Gary was a Colonel in the Army Reserve for 20 years. Gary also served as prosecuting attorney for the City of Minneapolis for Several years. Gary raised his family in Minneapolis and was a proud dad, military reservist, and public servant. Gary enjoyed spending time in Chetek, WI and Bonita Springs, FL with his loving wife Mary Ann and their many friends.
Our heartfelt thanks to staff at Mt. Olivet Nursing Home in Minneapolis who took such compassionate care of Gary in his final months. Services at Washburn-McReavy Hillside Chapel on Tuesday with visitation at 1:00 pm and funeral service at 2:00 pm.
Interment scheduled for a later date.
