Gary is survived by his wife, Velice Holmes; son, Terry (Bonnie) Holmes; brother, Johnny "Corky" Holmes; sisters, Phyllis Petty, Carolyn "Lynn" Close; granddaughter, Emily Holmes; and several extended family members.
