Denny M. Rogers, age 83, of 401 Davis Avenue, Byromville, died Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his residence.
Born in Alma, he was the son of the late Homer Rogers and Hazel Schell Rogers and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Denny was the owner of Cordele Paint and Decorating for many years. He loved helping others and one of his greatest joys was working with target shooting teams at various schools around the area. He also enjoyed hunting and traveling.

Grandchildren: Max Rischar, Brianna Rischar and Christopher Rischar
Step-Grandchildren: Garrett Wright (Deanna), Kimberly Keene (Randy), Tara Reed (Brad Slepetz),Tiffany Dorman (Christopher), Ally Reed (Jeremiah Shiflet) and Taylor Reed
Step-Great Grandchildren: Carson Godfrey, Ayden Godfrey, Garlan Godfrey, Zachary Wright, Levi Wright, Kolton Dorman, Kyler Dorman, Kason Dorman, Emerson Slepetz, Beau Slepetz, Shiloh Shiflet and Ravenna Shiflet
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, February 8 in Byromville Baptist Church. Inurnment will take place at Andersonville National Cemetery at a later date.
The family will greet friends after the service and may be contacted at the Gregory residence, 723 Davis Avenue, Byromville.
