Gary Dennis Hoop, aged 84, passed on to his heavenly home on February 22, 2025. Born on March 4, 1940, in Peebles, Ohio, Gary lived a life full of love, dedication, and faith. He resided in Fairfield, Ohio, until his final days. Gary was the beloved husband of Patricia Ann (Smith) Hoop, with whom he shared 66 wonderful years of marriage since July 11, 1959.
Gary was a devoted father to three children: Jeff (Sarah) Hoop, Jon (Sonya) Hoop, and Jennifer (Christopher) Neubarth. He was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Anna (Kevin) Danielson, Dylan Hoop, Matthew (Chloe) Hoop, Cole Hoop, and Mallory (Blake) Miller, and a cherished great-grandfather to Raelyn Danielson, Nico Danielson, Archie Hoop, Harry Hoop, and Asher Miller.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, the late James and Marjorie Hoop, and is survived by his sister, Sandy Hoop. He graduated from Sharonville High School (Sharonville, OH).
In 1965, Gary dedicated his life to the Lord, a commitment that shaped his entire life. He was an active member of Tri-County Assembly of God, where he served as a board member, Sunday school teacher, and Royal Ranger Commander. In the last two years, New Life Chapel became his spiritual home. His favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Gary's legacy is one of unwavering love and devotion to his family. He took immense pride in being there for his loved ones, no matter the occasion or need. His home, yard, and cars were a testament to his hard work and dedication. Gary's teachings emphasized that at the end of the day, what truly matters is God and family.
Gary was a dedicated and hardworking man, spending 40 years at Allis-Chalmers/ITT AC Pump and another 20 years at Manheim Cincinnati. His work ethic and commitment were evident in all aspects of his life.
Gary Dennis Hoop leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and dedication. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
