Gary Jackson

Gary R. Jackson, passed away on January 2, 2024. Beloved husband of almost thirty years to Linae Jackson, nee Skilling. Dear father of Richard and Robert Jackson and grandfather of 2 granddaughters. Loving stepfather of Joanne Gutantes and the late Kurt Gutantes. Proud brother of Ronald (Ellen) Jackson, Robert (Flo) Jackson, and Brenda (Chet) Cassel. Cherished son of the late Richard and Hazel Jackson.      Gary began his career at Rollins College and received a B.A. in Criminology in Winter Park, Florida. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was also a valued and proud police officer with the Orlando Police Department in Florida.
      Friends and family will meet for visitation on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 9:30AM-11:30AM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee. The funeral service will then begin at 11:30AM. Interment will be at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, 1920 W. Buckley Road, Libertyville. Gary will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
