Gary N. Johnson, Jr. was born on May 13, 1969 in Quonset Pt, Rhode Island where his family was stationed in the Navy. He passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, in Washington. His son, Neil, and his parents were by his side.

Gary was baptized into the family of God at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in E. Greenwich, Rhode Island. Gary was confirmed at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Federal Way, Washington.

Gary grew up in Washington playing baseball, soccer, and basketball. Even though he wasn't the best player, he always enjoyed being with everyone on the team.

Gary graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1987 while his family was living in Kansas.

Gary moved to California in 1988, where he lived in Anaheim and worked in the Hotel Industry in that area for 32 years. Gary was always happy, outgoing, and loved people, so this industry was the perfect place for him to work.

Gary married Victoria Marshall in March of 2000. They had one son, Neil. Gary also had one step-daughter, Ashley, and one step-son, Ryan. Gary and Victoria later divorced.

Gary enjoyed movies and eating out in his spare time, and he was often joined by Neil.

Gary is survived by his parents Gary and Nancy Johnson, his son, Neil Johnson, and his siblings Karen Johnson and Randy Johnson (Heidi). Gary is also survived by his step-children, two nieces and one nephew.

Gary will always be remembered for his fun-loving and easygoing spirit.
