Gary Patrick Kelly, age 63, of Greenville passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025. He was born the son of Charles and Patricia (Manteufel) Kelly on December 24, 1961 in Appleton, WI. Gary was a farmer in its purest sense, working from the time he was able to on the family farm - a place that shaped his character and values. He and his brother eventually purchased the farm from their father, continuing its legacy until Gary's well-earned retirement. Outside of farming, he found joy in fishing, hunting, golfing, shooting pool, and B.S.ing. He played in numerous bowling, golf, and pool leagues with friends. Gary had a unique ability to see when someone may have needed help, and never hesitated to show kindness and generosity in those situations. Above all, Gary cherished time with his children and grandchildren. Whether cheering from the sidelines at sporting events or simply spending time together, he made every effort he could to be present in their lives.

Gary is survived by his children: Sheena (Erik) Arndt and Chase (Rachel) Kelly; grandchildren: Ty, Amos, Charlotte, Chloe, Hallie; the love of his life, Connie; mother, Patricia Kelly; his siblings: Kevin (Lori) Kelly, Charles (Melissa) Kelly, Colleen Kelly (Fiancé Ken), Greg (Heather) Kelly; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Charles Kelly.

The Memorial Service for Gary will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville with Rev. Chad Starfeldt officiating. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

To help honor Gary's memory, his children hope to raise awareness about mental health. Strength isn't measured by silence-it's okay to ask for help. You don't have to face things alone. If you or someone you know is struggling, please call 988 to speak with a mental health professional, anytime.
