Paul's Funeral Service Video Paul Draheim, age 75, of Hortonville, Wisconsin, passed on Friday, July 25, 2025 following a long battle with cancer. Paul was born in New London, on December 20, 1949, to the late Delbert and Bernice (Mills) Draheim. He was one of eight children. On June 26, 1971, he married Jeannie Menting, the love of his life, and together they had two children. Paul served his country in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. Paul worked for the Toy Factory in Hortonville as a Forklift Operator and he helped out his wife at Hortonville Tax Service. He loved the outdoors and taking care of his animals. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching westerns. He liked his peace and quiet and alone time, but he loved his time with family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was one of those guys that you had to get to know. He was quiet, yet in his own way, loveable. He lived a life full of love, honor, and inspiration. He will be remembered as a man who always kept himself busy, embracing every moment with determination and purpose. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie of 54 years; his son, Mike Draheim (significant other, Megan Cotter) and his daughter, Crystal (Marty) Hegner; grandchildren, Michaela Draheim and Megan Draheim; siblings, Rick Draheim, Peggy Conradt, Diane Conradt, and Mary Bickel; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Bernice Draheim; his grandson, Noah; brothers, Dennis, Wayne, and Bob; brothers-in-law, Dennis Conradt, Eugene Conradt, Al Bickel; and close friends, Joe and Ron Lund. Paul's family would like to say thank you to everyone who reached out with kind words or a helping hand. You are very much appreciated. The Memorial Service for Paul will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville, Wisconsin. The visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Full Military Honors will follow the service.
