WEST MILTON - Gary Lee Knife, age 78, of West Milton, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Kettering Main Hospital.
He was born February 8, 1946, to Roy E. Knife & Anna (Guinn) Schoenlein in Dayton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Kathleen (Van Brederode) Knife; brother Jerry Knife.
He will be missed and remembered by loving children Teresa (Michael) Wolf of Pitsburg, and Darrin (Susan) Knife of Lewisburg; grandchildren Austin Wolf (Aurora), Jennifer Wolf, Ben Knife, and Ryan Knife; companion Judy (Hurley) Moran; sister Sandy Wintrow of Union; sister-in-law Betsey Knife of West Milton.
Gary was a 1964 Milton-Union High School graduate. He served his country proudly in the United States Army where he served in England and Germany. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Gary loved bowling, golfing and spending time with his friends at the North End Hot Rod Garage.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Online memories of Gary may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
