Gary Korte Obituary

He graduated from Boonville High School. He entered the United States Army after high school. After returning from the service, Gary was wed to Patricia Birge in April of 1969. He worked in the family business at Korte Lumber and was a carpet installer.
Gary enjoyed bowling and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Patricia of Boonville; son Shawn Korte; daughter Brandy Peery; sister Lois Craighead, grandchildren: Ashley, Treyvon, LaShala, and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson Christopher Korte.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Howard Funeral Home, with a funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow services at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Howard-Millard Funeral Home, 1397 Ashley Rd., Boonville, Mo 65233 (660) 882-3381. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.howardfh.com.
