Gary Lee Kreitz, 69, of Hanover, PA, passed away at his home, Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
Born October 8, 1955, in Hanover, Gary was the son of the late Bernard Lee and Pauline Genevieve (Peterson) Kreitz.
Gary worked at W.L. Sterner Company in Hanover and liked old things. He was an aspiring outdoorsman, as he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Gary is survived by his son, Tyler M. Kreitz and wife Anna, of Rumson, NJ. He also leaves behind his sister, Bonnie Auchey of Ephrata, and two brothers, Wayne Kreitz of Carlisle, and Owen Kreitz of Gettysburg. Gary was preceded in death by his brother Theodore Kreitz, his brother Francis Kreitz, and his sister Genevieve Small.
Following cremation, a service to celebrate and remember Gary's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover, PA 17331, with Reverend Kevin Orewiler officiating. Burial will follow in New Oxford Cemetery. Visitation and time to share memories with the family will be from 12:30-1:00 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the funeral home.
