Gary G. Krout, 79, of Lititz joined many beloved friends and family members as he passed on 7/23/2025.
He was born in Frackville, PA to George and Kathryn Krout. He served in the U.S. Army for 17 years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and when his health allowed was a dedicated teacher of his Sunday school class.
Gary will be remembered by his loving personality, his ability to pay endless compliments, a sense of humor that filled any room with laughter, and stories that could entertain you for weeks.
While he left us unexpectedly, and all too soon, he enjoyed his days, was always happy and positive, and didn't require much to be happy. He loved to spend time with his son, Austin, he loved to fish and would often take his grandchildren with him.
He is survived by a brother Donald Krout, sister Kathryn McGee and his children: Melissa Hasson wife of Mark Hasson, Jeffrey Krout husband of Leslie Fincher Krout, Abby Knarr, Nicole Dallin wife of Michael Dallin and Austin Krout. Grandchildren: Dr. Dallas Hasson husband of Nicole Ascue Hasson, Dr. Christian Hasson (Cassandra Kendall), Carter Hasson husband of McKaylin Cole Hasson, Ethan Knarr, Kathryn Knarr, Ashton Knarr, Sophia Knarr, Julia Knarr, Lauren Krout, Megan Krout, Elizabeth Krout, Anne Dallin and Blake Dallin. Also, much loved nieces, nephews and 3 great grandchildren.
