Our Loving, Kind, Patient, Calm, Easy Going, Intelligent, Wise, Humble, Husband, Father, Brother and Friend. Gary, 69 passed away on April 29, 2024, after a battle of complex health issues. He was born in Greencastle Indiana on August 12, 1954, to Reva M. Lehr. He was the eldest of seven children. He graduated in 1972 from South Putnam High School. He married Cindy on August 12, 1985. He served in the U.S Army and National Guard for several years.
He enjoyed bowling, hiking and camping. He loved to read and play chess. Reading to him was like watching a movie. He was a religious man who pastored a church, taught bible study and volunteered at the Kearns Food Pantry for 15 years. He loved to serve others.

He survived by the love of his life Cindy, children Sean Lehr, David Taylor and Tina (Tommy) Martin, seven grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and siblings Tim, Randy, Doug, Shirley and Becky.
He preceded in death by his mother Reva and sister Peggy.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 23rd at 2 PM at Redwood Memorial located at 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah with a visitation an hour prior at 1 PM.
