A memorial service for Gary Lynn Lillard, 84, of Cleburne will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 8, 2025, in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033, with Reverend John Glover officiating. Jerry Eberhart, Bob Ed Watson, Pat Culpepper, Wendell Dempsey, Jack South, Jerry Webber, and Tommy Reynolds will serve as honorary pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Gary Lynn Lillard, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. He was born on February 11, 1941, in Kopperl, Texas,

Gary was married to his devoted wife, Patricia Stewart Lillard, on March 23, 1962. Their union spanned an impressive 63 years, marked by love, mutual respect, and countless treasured memories.

Beyond his family, Gary was deeply involved in the community and embraced many passions throughout his years. He was a member of the Blue Lodge for 50 years and a Shriners Hospital of the 32nd degree for the same length of time, dedicating himself to service and fellowship. His love for antique cars was complemented by his membership in the National Cushman Club and the Great American Race Club, where he enjoyed sharing stories and camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Kelly Lillard and Ada Phinney Lillard; his brother, Tommy Lillard, and his wife Mary; his sister, Patsy Lillard; his uncle, R.M. Lillard; his aunt, Louise Lillard; and his brother-in-law, Ben Copeland.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; two sons, Kelly Lillard and his wife Lisa, and Patrick Lillard and his wife Catie; granddaughters, Adrienne Lillard, Cheyenne Green, Annabelle Lillard, and Markie Lillard; sister-in-law, Kathrinne Copeland; nephew, Craig Copeland, and niece, Gay Denham. He leaves behind a rich legacy of friendship, laughter, and kindness, remembered fondly by all who knew him, and numerous cousins.

Gary Lynn Lillard will be deeply missed, yet his spirit and contributions to both his family and community will endure in the hearts of those he loved. Gary lived a full and vibrant life that touched the hearts of many.
