Gary Richard Linden

Gary Richard Linden, age 78, of Alpena, Arkansas, passed away on February 19, 2026. He entered this life on June 19, 1947, in Holdrege, Nebraska, the son of Carl and Lillian (Feusner) Linden. Gary was joined in marriage on January 15, 2016, to Patricia Hernandez.

As a godly man, Gary was a prayer warrior always praying for those who were in need. He worked for many years as a computer specialist and was a jack of all trades fixing whatever he could. Gary had a passion for farming and loved having his hands in the dirt. He enjoyed gardening, working at the golf course, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Gary will be greatly missed and the memories created will be cherished and never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Lillian Linden; brother, Larry Linden; and sister, Dorothy Porath.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Patricia Linden; son, Richard Linden of Overland Park, Kansas; daughter, Angela Linden of Emporia, Kansas; four grandchildren: Anthony Linden of Wichita Falls, Texas, Haley Linden of Shawnee, Kansas, and Sean Allen of Seattle, Washington; extended family children: Betsy (late Mike Price), Rebecca and Mark Kastl, Katie and Rob Shoemaker; seven grandchildren: Belle, Brittany (Richard), Christoper, Taylor, Joey, Jorri, and Micki; three great-grandchildren: Robert, Brandon, and Harper; and sister, Carol Boller of Lincoln, Nebraska.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
