Gary Dewayne Lothrop

Gary Lothrop of Pensacola passed away on December 1, 2025. Gary was born to Roger and Deborah Lothrop on September 6, 1971, in Heidelberg, West Germany.

Gary met the love of his life, Dana, in his early adulthood, and together they welcomed their daughter, Haley, in 1993. They married in 2005 and later adopted two more children, Kambri and Raiden. Gary was a dedicated provider and a very hard worker for his family. He worked for Ascend for many years, forming many wonderful friendships during his time there. He loved his job and was thrilled to finally be in the "planner" position.

Gary is survived by his wife, Dana L. Maniccia; daughters, Haley S. Lothrop and Kambri E. Davis-Lothrop; son, Raiden K. Davis-Lothrop; grandson, Karson B. Lothrop; granddaughters, Eleanor R. Irby and Remi J. Nolan; and his brother, Timothy G. Lothrop. and parents, Roger and Deborah Lothrop.

Gary loved taking his family out on the boat to go fishing, but most of all, he loved to work-whether at his job or fixing things around the house. He was always working on something. One funny thing about Gary is that he liked to start projects and would sometimes begin another before finishing the first. Needless to say, his daughter Haley said she will now have plenty of projects to complete for him.

Gary fought a very tough battle over the last two years, and he is finally out of pain, resting in Heaven with our Lord.
