In Loving Memory Of,
Gary R. Mader, Sr, age 88, passed away November 2, 2025. He was born August 30, 1937 to the late Carl and Frances (Gilmore) Mader in Ironton, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Charles E. Mader; brothers, Carl Jr., Johnny, Mike and Paul; Sisters, Norma, Doris, Mary, and Frances. Gary is survived by his wife of 68 Years, Patricia J. Mader (Wiley); his children, Dan Mader (Becky), Gary (Jana) Mader Jr., Patty Cordell (Randy) Cordell, Ron (Lisa) Mader; sister, Linda; his grandchildren and many great- grandchildren.
Gary worked at General Motors for many years and then went on to be self-employed as a siding applicator. His last job was at The Gap, where he really enjoyed his job because they knew he was a hard worker and did his job while assisting others with theirs as well.
Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, where funeral services will then take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 10:00am. Entombment to follow at Lithopolis Cemetery. Doug Nault officiating.
