Gary Lynn Maggard Sr.

Gary Lynn Maggard, Sr., born on July 4, 1955, in Leslie County, Kentucky, passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 70. He was the beloved son of the late Jimmy and Irene Williams Maggard. Gary is survived by his children, Gary Maggard, Jr. and Jessica Blair, along with her husband Donnie, all residing in London, Kentucky. He is also survived by his sister, Iris Afterkick, and her husband Don of Florence, Kentucky, as well as his cherished grandchild, Preslie Blair of London.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy and Randy Maggard, and his sister, Brenda Harris. He worked as a factory worker and was of the Christian faith.

The family of Gary Lynn Maggard, Sr. will hold a memorial service at a later date to honor his memory.
