Gary Lee Martin of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 18, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 72. He was born October 11, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of James Lee Martin. Gary was a U.S. Army veteran during the time of the Vietnam War. He went on to serve his community as a police officer in St. Clair and Bates counties for 25 years. Working in law enforcement was very important to him and he and those who knew him best knew the impact it had on his life and the community he served. Since retirement, he lived in Mountain Home for the past 15 years. Gary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, being on the lake, and spending time in nature.
Gary is survived by his sons, Lance Martin, Aaron Martin, sister, Trina Smith; and stepmother, Shirley Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Linda, and Brenda.
